Linksys WAP11 2.2 The Linksys WAP11 is a wireless access point. It is very good, even though its a little old. You can modify the firmware to run as a D-Link 900AP+ (which is good). You can then easily, bridge to another access point. I did this hack onto my router, and it gets a nice range, and works really well Be careful, VERIFY your WAP11 is a version 2.2, otherwise you will kill it. If you got a 2.6, no worry, you can apply a SNMP output hack, that will increase the range of your signal. If you have a 2.6 then go here If you dont think this works, have netstumbler running and have a before and after snapshot, and ping times will decrease by a tad.
