| Imagine this, you are running down a hallway in your favorite fps. Suddenly on your 6.1 speaker system you hear someone sneaking up behind you. Luckily, you have a rail gun in your hands. Just as you whip around to frag the guy, you realize your mouse button is stuck! Your delay gets you a rocket right in the face. If this has ever happened to you, you need a Logitech Mx500. This has to be the best mouse I have ever used in my life. The first time I saw one, I knew I had to buy it. I knew this mouse had more then just good looks when I first plugged it in, and layed my grubby little palm on it. The mouse just, fits to your hand. Probably the most unique thing I first noticed was the top of the mouse was made from a single piece of plastic. Thats right, the buttons are both made of the same piece of plastic. Overall, the mouse fits your hand like a glove. |
| The Mx500 has many great features. But first, I have to tell you about the buttons. I think we can all agree that you can never have to many buttons on your mouse. The mx500 is designed with this in mind. The mouse has a total of eight buttons (counting the scroll wheel click in type button.) Besides the standard place ment of button one and two, and the scroll wheel, there are two thumb buttons on the side, one above the scroll wheel, and two below. I used to think I would never use that many buttons, but they do actully come in useful while playing games, surfing, etc. | The Mx500 has an optical dpi of 500, what does this mean, I don't really know, but does it matter, yes! The mx500 is way more accurate then the crappy microsoft optical mouse I was using. It just, feels smother in games, and all around. You know the sensitivity slider in games, now I turn that all the way up. Some people even say that the using a mouse like the Mx500 increases their skills in games, I don't really know if it has helped me as much as a lot of people claim their mouse does, but I sure am a lot more comfortable now. Overall, I completely reccomend the Mx500 to anyone who is looking for a mouse. I can't see why more people pick these up when you can get them for just $40 at most stores. Whats funny is I see people paying over $300 for a graphics card, while they use the $2 mouse that they got at Walmart. I for one, think that it is a much better use of money to get a good mouse. Basically, all I want to say is, get a Mx500, your hands will thank you for it. |
