|  The Kodak EasyShare CX6200 is the value model in Kodak's EasyShare series of digital cameras. Backed by a 2.1 megapixel CCD, the CX6200 offers very decent quality at an incredible price. This camera can take pictures up to 1632x832 (2MP) in colour, black & white, or sepia. The camera has 8MB of built in memory, and has a slot for Secure Digital or MultiMediaCard's for extended memory, although you must buy them seperately. Using the internal memory, you can take up to 40 pictures at the lowest resolution (0.5MP, 816x616), and 9 pictures at 2MP. On average, I'm able to take 250-300 pictures at any resolution on a single pair of 2050mAh NiMH rechargable batteries, varying with flash and without. |
| The aperture of the CX6200 is fixed at f/4.5. Shutter speeds are all automatic and range from half a second to one two-thousenths of a second. With flash turned on, it's fixed at one sixtieth of a second. The flash modes featured on the CX6200 are auto, fill flash, red eye, and off, which can be selected in the menu on the 1.6" LCD screen, or using the dedicated flash button above the screen. Personally, I quite enjoy this little camera. It's always handy for taking pictures to keep memories alive. With an MSRP of only $99.95, the Kodak EasyShare CX6200 is an ideal point & shoot camera for anyone on a budget who wants a basic digital camera at an affordable price. But remember, you only get what you pay for, so if you're looking for advanced features, look elsewhere. My price to value rating would be 4/5.
