| What, how can Windows 2000, an older operating system be better then Windows Xp, a new one? You may ask this question, and the answer is... Well, I just really think Windows 2000 is better. The reasoning behind this, is because I have been a Windows 98 user for many years, and I am very much used to the interface of Windows 98, I am also an advanced user, and use the control pannel and what not quite a bit. Now when I use XP, and I open the control pannel, I have no idea where to go, I don't want my control pannel settings in various groups, I want them on the first page, like in windows 2000 and windows 98. Windows 2000 is also geared more towards a corparate enviornment, which is good for me, since I will be working in a corparate enviornment soon enough, and must be able to use windows 2000 severs, and windows 2003 servers, etc. Which are both more like windows 2000 then windows xp. I also find windows 2000 to be more stable. But windwos xp isn't all the bad, it does look pretty.... even if it does slow your system down... So I will give props to windows xp for that. If you don't agree with me... then oh well, you are entitled to your opinion. P.S. For everything but games, linux is fucking shit |
