SanDisk Sansa e280

SanDisk Sansa e280The SanDisk Sansa e280 MP3 player sounds as awesome as it looks. It packs a powerful feature set and lets you see it all in the palm of your hand. Play your music, preview your photos, and watch video clips with the push of a button. The strong alloy-metal casing provides excellent durability and scratch resistance for your active lifestyle.

The Sansa e280 has eight gigabytes of memory and can store about 2,000 songs, twice as many as the best-selling version of Apple Computer's iPod Nano.

The Sansa e280 is compatible with Microsoft’s Playforsure that allows music rental. It is also obviously compatible with plain MP3 or WMA files. With 8GB of integrated (flash) memory plus an SD card expansion slot, most users should have enough room for their music/photos. I asked Alexei to review the Sensa e280 and he played with it for about a week before writing down his impressions below.

The dimensions of the SanDisk Sansa e200 are 1.7 in. wide x 3.5 in. long x 0.5 in. high (4.4 cm wide x 8.9 cm long x 1.3 cm high). Screen size is 1.8-inch (4.572 cm) TFT color screen (QCIF+). "SanDisk is once again making it incredibly affordable for consumers to purchase the most feature-rich, high-capacity players on the market at the best possible price," said Eric Bone, director of audio/video product marketing at SanDisk.
