|  The mobile revolution continues with the ultra-sleek Motorola KRZR K1m. It comes equipped with a fully integrated music player with touch-sensitive keys, a 1.3 megapixel camera, expandable memory, voice-activated dialing and Bluetooth® wireless technology. This is more than a cell phone, it is a reflection of your style and personality.
The KRZR K1m feels very comfortable against the ear, and because it's so narrow, it's even easier to hold than the RAZR. The 3.6 oz phone flips open to show, essentially, a slightly miniaturized RAZR display and keypad. The RAZR's 2.2-inch screen is down to 1.9-inch (but maintains the same brightness and 176 by 220 resolution), and the keys, which on the RAZR are trapezoids tapering from 21 to 11 mm wide, are here rectangles of a universal 11 mm.
The KRZR K1m has basic PIM applications; calendar, contacts and notes. It has a messaging application for MMS and SMS, an IM client that works with MSN, AIM and Yahoo instant messaging, a world clock, alarm clock and calculator. Contacts has fields for 2 email addresses, 5 phone numbers (2 mobile, work, home, fax), photo caller ID, ring tone and group assignment for each contact. The calendar supports repeating events, alarms, day, week and month views. And of course the MOTOKRZR has photo and video viewers so you can enjoy content you've taken with the camera.
The 1.3 mega pixel camera on the Motorola KRZR K1m is quite easy to use. The camera's lens is located just above the phone's display. Pictures can be taken with this phone in four resolutions: 1,280x1024, 640x480, 320x240, and 160x120. However, there is a lack of settings selections. Other options included in the camera function are the multishot option, a self-timer, white-balance and brightness controls, three different color effects, an astounding 8X zoom, three shutter sounds that also include a silent option, and also 10 fun frames. Included with the camera is a camcorder mode. In this mode you can shoot clips with sound in 175x144 resolutions. The editing options offered for the camcorder mode are fairly similar to those offered for the still camera. Although you are able to shoot for as long as you can until memory runs out, any videos meant to be used as multimedia messages can only be 14 seconds long.
