Kurumin linux

Kurumin linuxKurumin Linux is the most popular Linux distribution in Brazil, with Portugese being the default language install. Based on Knoppix/Debian and Kanotix, it has advanced hardware detection (thanks to Knoppix) and an easy to use Control Panel which allows one click install of many popular programs. It also includes the popular Synaptic Package manager.

This Linux distribution runs entirely from a bootable CD. Data on the CD is uncompressed on the fly, allowing them to fit about 2 GB worth of system and programs on one CD, including a complete X server, KDE, and packages like OpenOffice. Since it runs solely off the CD, Kurumin makes an excellent portable Linux demo or system rescue disk, but its completeness makes it a good general purpose distribution as well.Kurumim is a brazilian distro based on Knoppix architecture.

The Kurumin is more easy the Linux distribution to use. It wheel directly from the compac disc, detecting the hardware of the machine and can be installed quickly. All scripts, tools of configuration, menus, etc. This makes with that everything is much more familiar. Many people have pointed the Kurumin as being not only more easy to use that other Linux distributions, but also more easy than the proper Windows.
