|  The Fujifilm FinePix F31fd is a stylish compact camera with the added benefit of having an Intelligent Face Detection feature. This means that the Fuji F31fd will automatically detect if there is a face in your shot and will bring it into focus even in low light conditions. It can detect up to ten faces at the same time.
The Fujifilm FinePix F31fd is equipped with a 6 megapixel Super CCD HR sensor, while the Fujinon zoom lens offers 3x optical zoom. A 2.5" LCD is available for previewing images. The camera allows you to shoot movies at VGA resolution (good enough for playback on TVs) at 30 frames per second.
Capable of identifying up to 10 faces in a frame, the Fuji FinePix F31fd will automatically zero in on faces and photos will be properly exposed giving the images a better feel. The Face Detection technology is integrated onto the camera's processor, so it can identify faces and optimize image settings in as little as 0.05 seconds.
The Fujifilm F31fd inherits its feature set from its older brother, the TIPA and DIMA award winning FinePix F30. In particular its unrivalled low-light performance of ISO 3200 at full resolution, made possible by Fujifilm’s acclaimed Real Photo Processor II, combines with Face Detection to make the FinePix F31fd the ultimate compact for people photography. With Fujinon 3x optical zoom lens, 6 megapixel Super CCD HR VI, 2.5 inch LCD screen and unique Fujifilm technologies such as Intelligent Flash.
The FinePix F31fd includes ISO sensitivities as high as ISO 3200 equivalent courtesy of a sixth generation, six megapixel Super CCD HR imager which offers an improved signal to noise ratio, and a two-stage noise reduction system that breaks down and removes noise in low and high frequency bands in separate steps. Fuji's Super CCD HR sensors use an octagonal array of photodiodes that increase image resolution in the horizontal and vertical planes - where the maximum detail in pictures should be found.
