I have been an IE user for years. Recently I have been
using Mozilla's Firefox browser. The first thing I liked about it was that it
is totally FREE. After I downloaded the program, I was able to easily install
it on my Win XP computer. Now I have a hard time going back and using IE.
Using tabs for browsing is nice. I like being able to open
a new page in the background without opening a new browser. Surfing the web
with tabs is quicker as well. When I open Firefox, my homepage is actually 3
different pages in different tabs. This makes checking my website and various
email locations very easy.
Some other features is the built in popup blocker and
simplified privacy controls. The appearance of the browser window can be
changed with various themes and extensions. Downloading these additions are
quick and installation is usually automatic.
Overall, Mozilla Firefox is an easy program for novice and
expert users.
