Printers >> Canon MPC400 Canon MPC400 review I use the canon MPC400 multi function centre. From my experiences with it i can state that it is an excellent printer, very quiet, very fast and very photo-realistic. It has four ink tanks (CMYK) which means that if one colour runs out you only have to replace that colour rather than an entire multi-colour cartridge. The scanner component is excellent, it is quick quiet and uses canon's LIDE technology, which means it doen't have the bulk of all those mirrors. I have noticed a slight amount of grain in some scans, however this is easily fixed in a photo editing program. The MPC400 also funtions as a colour copier. Simply place the document you wish to copy on to the scanner, press the green button and away it goes. Quality varies depending on the settings you choose, however, for anything from a quick b/w copy to a full blown high quality colour copy, the MPC400 does the trick. I am extremely satisfied with this device and would recomend it to anyone looking for a high quality multi-function device. samuel
