The new 80GB Apple iPod gives you even more entertainment choices than previous models. In addition to storing over seven weeks of music, 25,000 photos, or up to 100 hours of video, you can now enjoy more games and movies. Purchase a variety of classic video games and full-length movies through the iTunes Music Store to play on the go. The patented, easy-to-use Click Wheel lets you zoom quickly through the player's menus. And with the iPod's new alpha-numeric search function, you can quickly "drill down" through your library to find the video, song or photo you're after. Using an optional iPod dock, you can display your movies and photos on a TV screen, so everyone can join in the fun. The 80GB iPod is one of the best MP3 players on the market. Sound quality is good and the number of equaliser presets are providing you with enough options to listen to the tracks the way you want it. The search function is well implemented and you can customize the main menu. Like in all other iPods the integration with the iTunes and the iTunes Music Store works perfect and is one of the main features of the device. Gapless playback works also fine and is a nice addition. The bad thing with the full sized 80GB iPod is the fact that you can not delete, rename or edit your playlists, you don't have an equaliser that you can customise to your liking, there is no FM radio and no built-in mic. The video and photo viewing is good but that's it: no enhanced options here and no wide array of supported formats. The conclusion: iPod remains a good music player that still has enough room for improvements. Feactures: - Player Type: Hard Disk MP3 Player, Portable Media Player
